Day-6-Hawassa-Addis Ababa
Day-1-Addis- Arba-Minch. We have the first stop at pre- historical site of Melka-Kunture and church of Adadi Mariam, the southern-most rock hewn church in Ethiopia, and the steles of Tiya. Finally, passing through the wonderful panoramic landscape of the Hadiya and Wolayita People. Lunch in Sodo town then drive to Dorze climbing up to visit the highland people. Afterward continue to Arba-Minch stay in Lodge/Hotel
Day-2-Arba-Minch-Jinka. Passing the terraced mountains of Konso with magnificent view of Woyto valley we drive to Jinka, if we are on Thursday we will have the opportunities to visit the Key-Afar market, which gather; the Hammer, Benna, Ari and Tsmay ethnic groups. Depending on your arrival also we be able to visit Jinka museum & researching center. Overnight stay in Hotel/Campsite
Day-3-Jinka-Mursi-Turmi. Drive from Jinka to the Mago National Park. After driving down into the valley to Mursi ethnic group on their village afterward back to Jinka, having lunch & visit Ari village just befor leave to Jinka. Continue to Turmi via key-Afar & Dimeka tiny villages. Overnight, stay in Lodge, hotel or campsite in Turmi.
Day-4-Turmi-Konso. You have to leavefrom Turmi to Konso after breakfast visit market in Dimeka if the day Tuesday or Saturday. (An alternative road through Arbore Village) and visit the society of the Konso boast a rich culture and a highly specialized and successful agricultural economy by their indigenous way of terracing the steep slopes for cultivation of sorghum and different grains. Visit the Konso village and the natural wonder “New York”: huge sand pillars formed through ages by rain and erosion. Overnight stay Lodge/hotel
Day-5-Konso-Hawassa. Leave from Konso to Hawassa via Sodo, Alaba & Shashemene. If the weather conditions is good in Hawassa which is great having some walk around the lakeside watch beautiful sunset & different species of birds included king fisher . Overnight, stay in Hotel.
Day-6-Hawassa-Addis. Today before we start driving to Addis, you will visit the scenic morning Fish market in Hawassa where the fisher men sell their fishes Tilapia & Catfish whereas Pelicans and Storks are competing to take the left over. You can also spot Vervet, Black and White Colobus/Gureza/monkey in the ‘Amora-Gedel’ Recreation Park afterward continue to Visit the national park of the lakes Abijata and Shalla, two lakes which, even though of being just a short distance away from each other, are very different in their natural habitats. Reaching Debre Zeit, have a take a break at one of its four beautiful crater lakes if you have sufficient time. In the late afternoon, you will arrive in Addis Ababa. Enjoy a traditional farewell dinner with Cultural dance.
